Terms of use

Last updated: October 31, 2026

These terms apply to the I Bet On Me app. By using it, you agree to them. They are written to be read.

What the app is, and isn't

I Bet On Me is a self-help tool to support you in stopping gambling. It is not a medical treatment, therapy or a crisis service, and it doesn't replace a professional. If you feel out of control, or think about harming yourself, contact a helpline or emergency services. The app shows a free helpline for your country.

Who can use it

You must be an adult (at least 18, or the age of majority where you live) to use the app.

Your data

Your data stays on your phone. The privacy policy explains this in detail.

Figures in the app

"Money kept" and the examples next to it are estimates based on what you said you used to bet. They are meant to motivate you, not to be exact financial figures.

Blocking

Blocking makes betting harder, but no app can block everything: some sites, VPNs or other devices can get around it. Combining it with other steps (self-exclusion, your bank's gambling block, a trusted person) is what works best.

Our responsibility

We work to keep the app accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will always work without error. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it, including money lost gambling. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If a change is important, we'll say so in the app.

Law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
